More evidence that in Lebron’s role, he could succeed. That is, if Mike Brown would install some offensive system that doesn’t rely on one player.

I’m a firm believer that the two times, while it sucks it was against the same team, they both times caught the Lakers tired, relaxed, and unfocused, plus shot lights out from behind the arc.

I think we can shut down their perimeter defense, and our crappy SSZ can actually do some good against Howard.

Now that they took care of business to get back to the Finals.

Show em some 2008 Finals footage, Phil! Let’s get these dudes fired up and pissed off.

That Western Conference trophy acceptance thing was so odd hahhaa. Very somber

i think they realized it means jack shit

without the finals win. last year they enjoyed it, this year it’s just a step on the way.

They just had an appetizer

The waited all season for the server to take their order.

They just had their salad, chomped on the bread a little bit.

Lakers are soooo hungry, waiting for the entree.

What?! That was like a formality. They are not happy at all with just that.

20 points, Gasol and Odom, 35 points from Kobe

the bad part is, despite how much we love Odom, Odom cost us last year’s finals. He’s gonna have to help us win this year’s, because Bynum still needs to grow up

Or the fact they were all close games LBJ couldn’t close?

Great game!

Say waht you want about the Nuggets and the officiating. But all the conspiracy theorists can’t stop the fact that the Lakers EXECUTED.

Their offense was smooth and their D didn’t let up. THIS is how the Lakers should play all the time.

In Kobe’s words, “No mercy”.

The truth about Kobe will only come for the masses at the end of his career

His isn’t the villain he’s made out to be.

True

It sucks that he isn’t appreciated. His mental toughness makes him the villain.

When he retires, people will realize at how beautiful he played the game.

And I think that for once Wilbon used the right word. The Lakers were disciplined. For a whole game.

I bought nose bleeds once and ended up sitting in the 2nd row. Of course that was the outdoor game this pre-season between Denver and Phoenix, but still it’s always fun to beat the system.

I was one of the lucky few to be invited to watch Game 5 vs. Denver at Metta World Peace's Private Party. He was very intense watching the game, and it was obvious that it bothered him a lot that he couldn't be there helping his teammates.

This is a video I took of Ron's reaction to Kobe's last shot at the buzzer to tie. Him raising his hands was the happiest I saw him during the whole game. I was hoping to record a great celebration.
