Around SBN: Raiders' GM Begins The Purge

Credits 5/24/09

Kobe.  Trevor.  Pau.

Today's Credits belong to them for the win.

Oh, and credit goes to Chauncey Billups and J.R. Smith for wild shots that helped us win.  Thanks for trying failing to break the game open with dumb shots.  Allowing us to remain within range, stay focused and come back to win in crunch time.

The crazy thing is Lebrons buzzer beater put them up 96-95 to win the game. Kobes shot with 1 minute left in the game put us up 96-95….

Just reminding everyone who the best player in the league is still.

So who are we rooting for today???

I think Cleveland for me. I just really want to see the Kobe vs. Lebron matchup.

Well, sir, you are a cowardly son of a bitch! You just shot an unarmed man!.......Well, he should have armed himself if he's going to decorate his saloon with my friend. – Will Munny

I guess, I’ll be rooting for Cleveland too

Me too.

Providing we take care of our half. I want to take down LeBron. As a Laker fan, and for Kobe’s legacy.

We already had Michael make his bones on Magic. We need this.

The Lakers are 12-2 against the Nuggets in the past 2 years.

It’s not enough that Los Angeles has been stealing water from Colorado since the 1940s. Now the City of Angelina Jolies is stealing inbounds passes, stealing games in the Western Conference finals, stealing the yearnings of every Nuggets stalwart inColorado.

Blame William Mulholland and Kobe Bryant. Engineer Mulholland went for the water, guard Bryant the parched throats. Mulholland drives; Bryant shoots.

Ah the old we're stealing their water jab

As if we don’t get enough of that from the Bay Area and SacTown crazies.

“If they want to see that matchup, they can go play (the video
game) NBA Live,” Denver’s Kenyon Martin barked after his Nuggets’ 106-103 win Thursday night here, tying the Western Conference finals at 1-1. “Everybody has anointed Los Angeles as the Western champions and Cleveland as the Eastern champions. We’re not going to lay down, by any means. If it’s meant to be, then they’re going to have to beat us. We’re not going to give it away.”

It seems to me that the credit should go to Kenyon Martin...

for making a terrible in-bound pass at a crucial moment.

Can't agree.

That play was important, but secondary to the real reasons why this game was one. Without the play of Kobe, Pau, and Trevor, the inbounding play never happens. The steal helped seal the deal, but what mattered more was the events leading to being in that position.

The Lakers are 12-2 against the Nuggets in the past 2 years.

True.

Pau looked great in this game.
