Lakers vs. Nuggets: A BDL Preview

Ept_sports_nba_experts-742998245-1242741619_medium

No downtime after taking seven games to beat the Rockets, but we're in the Western Conference Finals nonetheless. As usual, SS&R has contributed a series preview to Yahoo! Sports' official NBA blog, Ball Don't Lie. SB Nation's Nuggets blog, Pickaxe And Roll, also contributes a preview from the Nuggets' perspective, and it's well worth the read. Head on over to BDL, and check it out!

Once you're done, come back over here, and stick around — we've got a busy lineup here at SS&R for the day, as we get geared up for the Western Conference Finals. Lots of great stuff coming your way.

holy crap

the comments are amusing and frightening. I have yet to find an unbiased one rooting for either side. there is no discussion, no arguments, no nothing. horrible. why can’t people act normally outside of SBN blogs?

Totally agree

I don’t visit any other blogs because it’s usually name-calling and intelligent statements like, “Your team sucks!” Who needs it?

Exactly

Unfortunately I used to take part in those childish conversations but since I have been a member of SB Nation I have not commented or visited any other blog. I’m spoiled and the bar is set to high by SSR.

Yup, the best guideline I ever saw was here

Not to be a NERD

but I think that the format that everyone must follow guidelines or be banned is a good thing. That keeps everyone in check and for the die-hards we want to keep participating therefore we will continue to follow those simple rules as long as we have a forum where we can get our opinions heard.

Nuggets fan here,

may check in here from time to time if that is alright, good luck tonight! This should be quite a series…

Quite alright

We’re always glad to have the more respectful opposing fans join in.

I was one of the lucky few to be invited to watch Game 5 vs. Denver at Metta World Peace's Private Party. He was very intense watching the game, and it was obvious that it bothered him a lot that he couldn't be there helping his teammates.

This is a video I took of Ron's reaction to Kobe's last shot at the buzzer to tie. Him raising his hands was the happiest I saw him during the whole game. I was hoping to record a great celebration.
