Yeah dude is crazy
Tim must of just woke up out of acoma and saw the game and was wandering why the hell is Kobe trashing Battier because he must of not known basketball and sports in general, are competitive and people talk trash all the time, this isn’t a new dicovery, it is part of the game so why does Kobe has to be the only guy in sports to shut up and play his game?? This is just another article and another example of Haterism for Kobe.
I think what he means
is that we all KNOW how good Kobe is and we don’t need him constantly reminding us about it. He’s right one aspect, it comes off as insecurity. It’s like a beautiful girl who’s so insecure about her looks you don’t find her attractive at all anymore.
When other players have a good game and are trash talking a little bit – it looks like they’re getting fired up and excited because they’re playing well. When Kobe does it – it just looks like smugness because he does it so often (due to this rare level of skill and talent.) Is it fair that Kobe has to be treated different in this aspect of the game? No, but as the saying goes, " Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown."

I understand
I don’t view Kobe in that way maybe because Kobe doesn’t come off as friendly to the people around him or to his teammates so all of a sudden when he looks friendly or when he is being friendly then he must be acting and he must be faking. As I have watched Kobe play I don’t feel like he is forcing anything, trash talking is a part of the game, really what does Kobe have to look like when he talks trash(playful?) or must he have to shut up because he’s so nice no one can hold him?? I don’t get it, when you play the game no one is your friend and you have to make it like everyone is inferior to you, thats the name of the game, the way I look at it is Kobe have been hearing and reading that everyone feels Battier can guard him and so what Kobe do torch Battier every chance he got and to top it off yells HE CAN’T GUARD ME, to make sure they get the picture. To me Kobe just wanted to make it clear to everyone and he should be able to do and say as he pleases. The media seems to complain about everything Kobe does and then to top it off they compare things to what Lebron does as if Kobe cares or should care.

I just read an entire article devoted to criticizing Bryant for scowling. When Bernard King did this everyone praised his “game face”; when Michael Jordan screamed at teammates, punched Steve Kerr in the face or trash talked with opponents and/or courtside fans everyone raved about how singularly competitive he is. How about this: instead of getting sidetracked by Bryant’s scowl or about how Houston’s Daryl Morey is going to revolutionize the usage of basketball statistics, let’s look at the real story of this series, the story that no one is talking about: despite all of Houston’s scouting and all of Houston’s detailed statistics—and despite having two All-Defensive Team players in Shane Battier and Ron Artest—Kobe Bryant is averaging 29.2 ppg versus the Rockets while shooting .475 from the field and .391 from three point range and he has his Lakers on the brink of advancing to the Western Conference Finals for the second year in a row. Scoring averages and shooting percentages tend to decline in the playoffs because the competition is tougher and because each team can zero in on their opponent’s tendencies but whatever advantage the Rockets claim to have in terms of statistical preparation is not showing up where it counts the most: Bryant’s raw individual numbers and, even more significantly, wins and losses. Instead of focusing on a scowl or on one play or on one game, it would be nice if members of the media who discuss this series had the necessary attention span/analytical ability/intellectual honesty/communication skills to not bury the lead under a mountain of gibberish.

Kobe Bryant...
just be yourself man. Otherwise you end up looking like this guy.

tHE MOST SELFISH PLAYER IN THE NBA
Question = Who is the most selfish player ever played in the nba?
A. Charles Barkley B. Kobe Bryant C. Garry Payton
Answer is = No other than KOBE BRYANT!!!!!!!!
How did that question get narrowed into a 3 person contest,
and why are the people you chose so random?
Also, you reversed your caps lock, and there isn’t a player named “Garry” Payton. You don’t need an = sign after ‘is’ either.
For the record, I disagree with your answer.
Three things you must know:
-"Ben Gordon is a bundle of muscle and clutch. That's all he's made of. Drink BG7 energy drink, you'll grow a pair of balls on your balls."
-Pau Gasol: The defense of a seven foot ladder paired with the post presence of Manute Bol.
-Joakim Noah is better than you.
D. Zach Randolph
