Okur Questionable For Game 1
The Lakers are the clear favorite in their series versus the Jazz, but it may be easier for the purple and gold if Jazz center Mehmet Okur cannot go in game 1.
Utah Jazz forward Mehmet Okur is questionable for Sunday's playoff opener in Los Angeles with a strained hamstring.
Okur has been out since straining his right hamstring on Monday night against the Clippers.
He did not practice all week and sat out again Saturday in the Jazz's final workout before traveling to Los Angeles.
The Jazz say Okur will be a gametime decision, but his teammates say they aren't expecting to have Okur in the lineup.
This could dash the little hopes Utah had entering game 1.

i hope the lakers don't get big headed now
that okur might not play. the jazz still have big bodies to throw around
Pansies
If you are that worried that Okur may play, then Lakers fans truly are the pansies everyone thinks they are. It’s bad enough the p.a. announcer at the Staples Center has to encourage the crowd to cheer…
Yankees SUCK
other than Yankees suck.........
this entire comment is seriously weak. Come on pal, your team lost, they’re done and you know it. Coming here and acting like that doesn’t change anything.

It seems the only real concern expressed by Laker fans isn’t that Okur will play — it’s that he won’t. The only team that can beat the Lakers is the Lakers, and no Laker fan wants to see their team get too overconfident.
Strength & Honor
So instead of the Lakers winning by 20, it’ll be 30.
