Walton to fill in on Laker broadcast
Sorry not poppa Walton but actually Luke himself. He's going to fill in on the radio broadcast as color commentator. I know he has a face for radio but does he have a voice for it (sorry couldn't resist that old joke)? Would someone listen in and give an analysis on his performance. I would like to know if he has a future in broadcast or if he should quit while he is ahead. Here's the link to the story

Hahah
I joked about Phil assigning Joel Meyers to garbage time and Luke Walton to play by play about a week ago…seems I was almost right!

Luke has the voice
You either have the voice or the personality or both. Hearn had the personality and B. Walton had both. Luke has the voice but he seems too melow and laid back. Who knows it might work. If he works out I wonder if Mitch could do a color commentator trade for Luke and that guy from the Pistons?… do it Mitch!

the real question is: are the Lakers paying Luke for this?
or does it come out of his ridiculous contract?!
