Don Nelson praises Kobe
"That guy is amazing," Nelson said. "To be able to shoot like he did with the finger problems that he has on his shooting hand, it’s amazing. Sixteen free throws for 16. Take a game over like that. Make jump shots. You know it’s not the same shot that he’s been shooting with that big ball of tape on his hand. That guy is amazing! I love watching him play, and it’s always a pleasure to coach against him."
I know everyone over at Fear the Sword hates it when I tell them that Lebron has no mid range game. Especially when they rely so much on their “check my stats” motto. But if my life depended on it, I would take Kobe and yes even Ray Allen to take a shot rather than Lebron.
"Michael Jordan once said the quality Bryant possessed that reminded him most of himself was the desire to distance himself from contemporaries."

Well, I wouldn't say he has no midrange game whatsoever
He’s just not particularly adept at it. Obviously though, Kobe is a better choice for a game-winner.
To secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself.
Yes
but to be considered the Best Player Right Now his midrange game should be above average which it isn’t. But you are right though, it isn’t non-existent.

his 3 point shot looks fantastic this year though
its gonna be scary when he gets that midrange game and post game more polished up (yes I think he will get both of those down soon)

I defenitely agree
If he gets his midrange game above average…watch out! He will be unstopable.
