Artest will not play @ Phoenix tonight

According the OC register:
Ron Artest (concussion) will not be coming to Phoenix to join the Lakers, as Phil Jackson had hoped.
Given that Jackson didn’t much like what the grouping of Lamar Odom, Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum did together, there’s little chance Jackson starts that big frontcourt against the up-tempo Suns. Phoenix starts 6-foot-8 Grant Hill at small forward, who isn’t ultra-quick anymore but still is not ideal for the 6-10 Odom.
Regardless, Jackson said he cares more who finishes the game than who starts it. So Shannon Brown, who fared well down the stretch Saturday night in Sacramento, would definitely seem in line for more minutes again at shooting guard against Jason Richardson.
The Lakers play again at Staples Center on Tuesday night against Golden State, so Artest might gain medical clearance to play then.
Looks like Lamar Odom will fill in at his spot at small forward for at least this game.

We should be able to beat Phoenix and Golden State without Ron
Shaquille O'Neal: "Tell him Shaq doesn’t respond to juvenile delinquents without a college degree. Tell him to get his degree, and we can talk. In the meantime, he should call me Dr. Shaq because I’m working on my PhD." (Referring to 17-year-old rookie Andrew Bynum, who compared himself to Shaq…except that he can make free throws.)

cool artest pic. Of course not surprised with your pic posting skills.
Maybe Artest being out will give brown a chance to step up.
"Michael Jordan once said the quality Bryant possessed that reminded him most of himself was the desire to distance himself from contemporaries."
