There are teams who've had interest in Robinson, including Orlando, Sacramento and the Lakers. The Bulls, whom the Knicks host tonight (7:30, MSG, ESPN 1050 AM), are looking for scoring and Cleveland's LeBron James has spoken glowingly about the 5-foot-7½ sparkplug.
We all know that we can't take these type of rumors too serious. The main point for posting this is because I thought that it would be an interesting topic to discuss. I don't want to sound like a broken record but I still think the Lakers are going to sign another free agent or make a trade by the deadline. They don't need a point-guard but they do need scoring and defense coming off the bench especially with the bench's knack for letting teams back into the game. As for me, I don't think that the Lakers need a player like Nate. Although he is a very good player and would be great to bring him off the bench I still don't think he is what the Lakers need. That is just me. What do the rest of you think?
