Bynum sulking again?
I haven't been able to watch a Lakers game in a while but is Bynum sulking again? I check the box scores and it seems like his effort isn't there. He's not getting a lot of rebounds and he's fouling more. It's starting to remind me of last year after he came back from the injury when it was obvious to all Laker fans that he was being a little lazy because he couldn't get into the offensive flow. Just a thought.

its relally annoying ...
he plays with no enery and is always scared to get injured… and he seems very unmobile..
right on the money
he gets into foul trouble and just camps out in the paint.
thats why he hasnt been rebounding or playing good D
i remember last year around about the same time he was having this sorta issue
hopefully when he returns to LA, the coaching staff will work with him more to get back into his groove.

We love you Bynum
Big Andrew Bynum best bigman in the NBA!! We need you this year Andrew to make it back to back on the greatest franchise every known to sports.
Meh
He has been sick
I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for a few more weeks. Adjusting to Gasol’s eerie, new found board vacuuming skills will be difficult, and the beauty of this team is that not everyone has to play their best game. Let’s not get too down on the boy after a few bad ones
Bynum started well but then just seems to lost his rhythm
but I don’t know, maybe he one of those centers that needs the ball in his hands alot to be effective, whatever the case, I hope he gets a new rhythm and soon.
There are basic Fundamentals that are needed to move forward in this game. Always keep your guard up at all times to avoid being caught in a trap. Overcome the fouls that will be commited against you REBOUND AND PRESS ON. ADJUST to the LimeLight: ALL-STAR PLAYERS ARE ALWAYS THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. Know what your role is and play your position. Find a game plan and execute it. REMEMBER YOU ONLY GET OUT OF THE GAME WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT.
I think I have been know how I feel about Bynum on the defensive
end. Some of you might not agree but I hate is effort on defense. He claims to want to be an all star but I would settle for him to at least try an make an effort at DPOY.

I doubt he's sulking.
He hasn’t been feeling well and the coaches know it and if they don’t seem to bothered by his lack of rebounding, effort, energy, etc then I don’t think we should be too worried either. They’d harp on Drew if he was feeling well and wasn’t going after rebounds, etc.
I think the coaches know that Drew still hasn’t gotten a good feel of where the ball will bounce after a miss. it’s just something you get after playing time, experience, etc.
Drew will figure it out, it’s still early in the season.

Bynum started regressing the second Gasol returned from injury.

Bynum a foul mood
I don’t think he’s sulking, he’s just fouling anything within his 20 foot wingspan!
Bynum's lack of effort
I don’t understand Bynum. He seems to be able to score just about every time he posts up. He has good foot work thanks to Kareem. He makes stupid fouls that keep him out of the game. I know he’s young and that may be a big factor. When he fouled out against the Nets last night, he went to the bench smiling. Whats up with that. Get your head on straight Bynum. Use Kobe’s work ethic as an example as to how hard you should be playing!!!
Bynum
I starting to believe we should trade him…another ariza move…he is are future center piece but what about right now? I have yet to see him play successful next to bynum since we aquired him 2 yrs ago…he needs the ball to produce and we have too many scorers its impossible for him to touch the ball every possession down, but when he doesnt touch or score he doesnt rebound block or play defense…oh he does foul though…we honestly just need someone to defend the paint and rebound thats all…so should we trade him why his value is high?
he is are future center piece but what about right now?
so you would rather trade a bynum who has alot of years ahead of him and has a lot of potential for a center who only has a few good years left in him before hes done????

i'm staying out of this conersation...

Let's see, I think trading...
A 22 year-old center with a huge body, soft hands, high mobility, a very refined post game, and a massive ceiling is a fun thing to do, right? Let’s trade away future franchise cornerstones right in the middle of our championship run. Sounds good.
People need to realize a few things: 1) Bynum is already a top five center in the league (Howard, Yao, Duncan, Gasol, Bynum; in no specific order) 2) you will never get fair value on a trade for Bynum 3) stop being so horribly impatient; I’ve never seen a team complain so much about an All-Star caliber player who hasn’t even hit most of his potential yet because he’s 22. Twenty-two years old.
To secure ourselves against defeat lies in our own hands, but the opportunity of defeating the enemy is provided by the enemy himself.
Well said.
It will be interesting to see how he does in the Christmas Day game. I just hope he can play big and stay out of foul trouble.
After his good start this season I thought he’d be an all-star but now I wonder. Probably Amare gets the starting center spot and then after that does Bynum have to compete with Pau in the West? Would the NBA coaches vote for Drew over Pau at this point?

A trade for any center not named Dwight "Superman" Howard would be crazy

If anyone doesn't like Andrew Bynum, just remember
what happens when he isn’t around. Can you say Didier Joshua Powelenga? It’s not a pretty sight.

Bynum's lack of effort
Willing to bet if the Lakers had waited to give him an extension he would be ballin’ Seems like after extension the effort was not the same. $50 million carrot was a big incentive. rebounding is effort — ask Gasol. Bynum does not play with effort or energy.
andrew bynum has the maturity of a 10 year old. the kid has incredible highs and terrible lows. when things arent going his way he just kinda sulks.
the best thing is for the lakers to just to give the baby his milk early and often. The guy is a great asset, we just need to make a point to get him the ball early and make it so he gets at least 10 shots a night. It’s not like he has a horrible fg %, the only side track is that giving him the ball isnt exactly always within the flow of our offense, but its a sacrifice that should be made to make the real big baby happy.
In Kobe we trust!
you don't have to be a 7 footer to play big...
among centers, bynum is
16th in boards
6th in FG%
13th in FT%
14th in blocks and has 8 double doubles as the starting center for the NBA Champions.
you guys sugar coat it all you want, this guy is “what you see is what you get”. remember his goals at the beginning of this season. " To start in the All Star game". not to help defend the ring or improve my defense but “to start in the All Star game”.
THE FUCKING ALL STAR GAME… priorities, or lack of, i should say.
