(Henry, if one is going to use stats to prove why Kobe isn't that great in the clutch, then they should also include the WIN percentages of the player's teams in those clutch situations. Yet, there is nothing telling us if the teams won or loss when comparing Kobe. Doesn't that matter? Most? Especially from a person who always references the basketball gods. Do us that favor Henry (and John Schumann, and 82games.com). I'm not going to dispute your numbers, and I think your argument is valid. I also don't know what the Lakers' win percentage is in these situations. But you owe it to your readers to give us the most crucial piece of information of these situations. Good point about mentioning the team's winning percentage when crunching the
crunch time numbers. I always thought the outcome was more important than the individual stats that one puts up. Henry Abbott also said Kobe traveled when got the ball from Fisher on the last play in the link from yesterday’s ‘Credits’ entry. I didn’t see the travel. Whatever. The bigger question is when does crunch time start.
This is a quote from Hot Rod Hundley regarding broadcasting for the Lakers this season........hilarious.
“I actually gotta give (commissioner) David Stern a call. I’m just trying to find out how many games I’ve got to broadcast this season to qualify for a ring (if the Lakers win the title). John Black (the team’s director of communications) said he’d look into it for me.”
If he deserves a ring, so do I.
Billy Mac: "Lamar, can you see yourself actually getting in the (boxing) ring"?
Lamar Odom: "No. My face is too pretty."
holy
anyone see what happened to carl landry??
he got elbowed in the mouth by dirk and lost 3 or 4 teeth…oooooouch
dirk got lacerations from the impact and had to get stitches
both players are day to day….
Leave Chad Billingsley alone!!!
On top of that, the Mavs medical staff had to remove pieces of Landry’s teeth from Dirk’s elbow. That is crazy. In the last three years, Landry has lost 4 teeth, torn an acl, and got shot. Tough ass dude.

i dont know why
but the SS&R and Celtics Blog relationship is reminiscent of the Nazi-Soviet Pact.
Leave Chad Billingsley alone!!!

All of us just go on there at the exact same time and say derogatory and unclassy things about them and make them try to ban us all! INVASION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know you were trying to be nice and I just knew you were going to get trashed and eventually banned. That’s what they do. Of course Jeff Clark (the head honcho) doesn’t seem to agree.

Well both have a Clark as a moderator. You mean they aren't related?
Billy Mac: "Lamar, can you see yourself actually getting in the (boxing) ring"?
Lamar Odom: "No. My face is too pretty."
By the way,
I’ll prolly be watching the Cowboys/Saints game more than the Lakers game. Should be a dogfight down in ’Nawleans.
I dunno,
They play the kind of style that can keep Brees off the field for a while because they run the ball alot and eat up alot of yardage and clock. But they suck in the Redzone so that could be their demise.

I don't get to watch either.....
Fucking Christmas party…..
Billy Mac: "Lamar, can you see yourself actually getting in the (boxing) ring"?
Lamar Odom: "No. My face is too pretty."
when they don't have football or Lakers on the TV I do.....
As we all know God is a Laker fan so if we are going to celebrate the birth of his son the least we could do is put his favorite team on the damn TV.
Billy Mac: "Lamar, can you see yourself actually getting in the (boxing) ring"?
Lamar Odom: "No. My face is too pretty."
