Can anyone answer this question
I have been going crazy trying to find something out about Jerry West. In 2007 he stated that he was going to leave the Grizzlies when his contract expired which he did. But he also said that he was willing to stay on as a consultant if it was asked of him. Does anyone have a link to show if he did or didn’t stay on as a consultant? Everything I read indicates that he didn’t but there isn’t anything that I can find that proves if he did or didn’t.

When I'm wrong I can admit it.
Shannon Brown is not the better option over Farmar at the PG position. Farmar right now is the better PG. But I still think that Farmar will not be the Lakers next PG after Fisher. Fish has already said that he isn’t retiring and Farmar is now talking the way that Fish did when he wasn’t a starter right before he left the Lakers for the Warriors:

Trevor Ariza got booted against Toronto for throwing an elbow to the back of DeRozan's Head
He missed.
But who would have thought the Trevor Ariza would get kicked out of a game before Ron Artest this season?
If it had been the other way, do you know how many “I told you so” posts and columns there would be this morning?
Instead, it was the exact opposite of expectations! Which goes to show, we don’t know jack as a group. But no one will ever admit to being completely wrong.

I read that to
and I didn’t even think of that. You are 100% right about that.

Anybody concerned/not concerned over Pau wanting more looks?
On one hand his lack of shot attempts seems to motivate his effectiveness on the boards. On the other hand, maybe he does need more looks.
He needs more looks but during the game vs Utah he got A LOT of touches, he simply wasn’t taking shots when he got the ball. When he says he wants more shots thats up to him to shoot the ball. Generally the players neglect him at times (especially during the regular season last year) but I didnt like him saying he wanted more shots during the Utah game.
He got a lot of touches but his energy wasn’t there. It didn’t seem as if he was making the right places or playing the way the Lakers needed him to, especially with Kobe feeling ill.
I agree here
He gets alot of touches actually but even when he isnt doubled (or doubled very hard) he just passes it back out to the perimeter with the shot clock running down. Its like WTF?

hell yeah Pau needs more looks
some fans here got upset in the past when I suggested that against teams where the Lakers have a clear height advantage they should pound the ball into Gasol and Bynum 95 percent of the time and that they should be option number one offensively instead of Kobe. That seems even more realistic now that Kobe is hurt. But Kobe is too competitive to admit weakness and allow them to do that. His competitiveness will not allow him to use his injury as an excuse. Which is great as long as the Lakers are winning. But, that strategy would not have helped them against Utah.

If the defense packs it in and dares you to shoot
You have to make the outside shots, then the pass inside will open up like Moses did for the Red Sea.
To recap:
Red Sea = Defense that packs it in
Moses = make outside shots
