Dam it why didn't I think of this yesterday over at
Denver Stiffs or whatever they are called. Their argument is that the NBA favors bigger market teams and that is why the Lakers are on top most of the time:
The Lakers’ following is not just a function of their large market. Look at their Staples Center co-tenants: the Clippers. The Clippers averaged 16,170 fans at home games and only 38,000 television viewers on average.

It also doesn't explain why the Sixers, Knicks, and Bulls suck either.
They will just find another excuse. That’s what they do.
Billy Mac: "Lamar, can you see yourself actually getting in the (boxing) ring"?
Lamar Odom: "No. My face is too pretty."
+1
The Spurs definitely aren’t in a large market, and neither is Portland. But they are great organizations. Being is a large market is an advantage only if a team has their shit together. Like the Lakers. No one is beating down the door to become a Clipper,Knick, or Bull.
The Bulls play in the 3rd largest market and may have been lucky to get Jordan, because his reign is their only success.
Through it all what I liked most
was that Sasha got a chance to contribute and hit a shot that helped open it up. then he was pulled after the timeout just after the shot.
I’ve always maintained that Phil will give him another shot, and for Sasha to contribute in a small way then sit back down (until taco minutes and before he could mess up), is just a small step in him gaining his confidence back. Phil is the best for a reason and I suspect that we will see this a bit more. Slowly.
Does that mean Trevor doesn't get to meet Obama?
Lakers 2009 Road to Redemption: TREVOR, DEREK, LAMAR, PAU & KOBE.
Play the game of which Lakers reminds you of: TA - TI, Shannon Brown - Chris Brown, Pau Gasol - Jesus, Machine - Luis Scola/Russell Brand, PJ with mustache and beard - Colonel Sanders.

but obama doesn't go out meeting every team, does he?
i doubt he’d go see trevor individually.
though, if he did, that would be awesome
