i love stats. please link more stats articles
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
I can agree with Manu, but some of the people in the top 10 make me question the validity of that article. Kyle Korver? Corey Maggette? Mehmet Okur? All more clutch than Lebron, Kobe, Carmelo, or Wade? Roy not even in the picture? Really seems like bad interpretation of stats to me.
it just goes to show
stats when it comes to clutchness mean next to nothing. It’s a rare occurence with tons of variables.

If you’re going to bash on stats, find a good reason.
Such as. These numbers don’t scale for the number of shots that a person takes. Yes efficiency is great, but you can’t have 5 starters on the team who average 8ppg on 60% shooting. 1-2 of them work, but you need someone who can put up points in quantity, even if it’s less efficient. That would be the main knock on Korver. He’s pretty efficient, but he’s taken a lot less shots than most of the top 20 and 1/3 of the shots of the big 4 that are mentioned. Would he be as efficient if he ha to be the main option? Probably not.
And as for rare occurrence. Some of these guys have taken 500+ shots in these “rare” situations. That’s not very rare at all.
Poster for next year? I'm thinking My Little Pony.
If you want Manu taking the last shot on your team, that's fine...
…I share the same opinion about these sort of stats that most bloggers do on this site. I know you know the story and have your own counter-arguments ready so it’d probably just be a waste of time me trying to hash it out here. A list like this can work if you’re rating players based on how good they are at free throw shooting, but by “clutchness”? I don’t buy it..

fewer shots, not less

Man I wish they kept these stats in the eighties and nineties
I wouldn’t be surprised if Michael Jordan and Larry Bird weren’t on the top 10 of these lists. The top would be littered with names like Kelly Tripuka, Steve Kerr, and Antoine Carr.
