On a Non-Lakers note

I am glad to see B. Jennings play as good as he has. Some rookie rankings even has him at # 1. I don’t ever believe one word by any NBA or NCAA executive that the age limit is good for the “quality” of the sport. It’s about the quantity of money that goes into their pockets. Just ask Ed Obannon who had to sue because UCLA is still cashing in on his jersey sales and making money off his name with and video games. By the way, a scholarship in no way compares to the amount of money a college makes off of player’s names.

You are completely right about LA fans panicking over how our team’s been winning. While it certainly hasn’t been pretty, it certainly isn’t time for chicken little panicking. I much prefer the 4-1 record than the 3-3 record. Still, it’s early in the season and there’s still a whole lot of game left to be played.
