Lakers-Warriors Open Thread

Los Angeles Lakers at Golden State Warriors, Nov 28, 2009 7:30 PM PST

Here are your drinking game triggers for tonight:

  • any reference to Vladimir Radmanovich or Devean George as former Lakers;
  • any reference to Keith Smart's game-winning shot in the 1987 NCAA title game;
  • any description of Ronny Turiaf as an "energy guy";
  • any mention of the Run-TMC era Warriors; and
  • any discussion of Tiger Woods's car accident.

Please enjoy responsibly.

I could be plastered by tip-off. That’s quite a drinking game you got there.

BTW.........

I think you meant Tiger Woods car accident domestic violence cover up.

a) Tiger is a complete idiot for cheating on that smoking hot Swedish model……
b) His wife is a psycho….

I can’t see any other scenario that makes sense.

i know what you mean..

nothing you can do about her being angry at this point and whether you watch sports or not it’s not going to stop anyone from being mad. If you turn off the game and go socialize you will still hear about it no matter what you do. Just have a drink and enjoy. Go Lakers!

I think smashing the Suns made me realize how far Kobe and the Lakers have come from five years ago, when the Suns had the world at their feet.

GO Lakers! But I’m watching SC/UCLA.

With all the preseason games it seems like we’ve played the Warriors a dozen times already this year.

There are basic Fundamentals that are needed to move forward in this game. Always keep your guard up at all times to avoid being caught in a trap. Overcome the fouls that will be commited against you REBOUND AND PRESS ON. ADJUST to the LimeLight: ALL-STAR PLAYERS ARE ALWAYS THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. Know what your role is and play your position. Find a game plan and execute it. REMEMBER YOU ONLY GET OUT OF THE GAME WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT.

the conclusion was that if Pau had a good game, Drew was likely to have a bad/mediocre one. You just can’t guard them both. They seem to be playing him pretty well. I think if you add up their stats and divide by two on any given night they will look pretty good.

Are the Warriors announcers good?

Farmar, besides that blown dunk, has played a very good game. He hasn’t tried to do too much. He’s not really making a mark on the box score but he’s done all the necessary things that need to be done like feeding Pau/getting the ball inside, making the pass that leads to a pass, etc.

Phil not liking his bench and I can’t blame him

There are basic Fundamentals that are needed to move forward in this game. Always keep your guard up at all times to avoid being caught in a trap. Overcome the fouls that will be commited against you REBOUND AND PRESS ON. ADJUST to the LimeLight: ALL-STAR PLAYERS ARE ALWAYS THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. Know what your role is and play your position. Yeah, you can't have a bench fail if the bench doesn't play.
