LIVE: Lakers vs. Bulls

Chicago Bulls at Los Angeles Lakers, Nov 19, 2009 7:30 PM PST

Sorry for the late game thread, guys. I'm closing up at work and then heading home during a commercial, so I'll dispense with any commentary and let you get right to it.

OK start

Gasol is killing, Kobe’s only taken two shots, but Noah has played pretty damn well

Hooray! The Suns lost; to the Hornets too!

Entertaining game so far. Pau looks like he never missed a beat.

I'm still pissed that KP didn't bring Salmons and Miller to Portland last year. That deal could have been done.

Bynum did get 12 shots, which isn’t that low for him. He just converted at a lower rate, some of which may have been it being more crowded, but we’ll see.

That's true

Actually, 12 shots is pretty normal for him. If he was hitting at his usual rate, his numbers wouldn’t be very different. Good point.

Once he figures out the right balance of perimeter play and post play, then he’ll get his rhythm back. Give it a few games.

17 point lead not bad

There are basic Fundamentals that are needed to move forward in this game. Always keep your guard up at all times to avoid being caught in a trap. Overcome the fouls that will be commited against you REBOUND AND PRESS ON. ADJUST to the LimeLight: ALL-STAR PLAYERS ARE ALWAYS THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. Know what your role is and play your position. Find a game plan and execute it. REMEMBER YOU ONLY GET OUT OF THE GAME WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT.

Right

So, not playing hard against a team down 25 that literally has no chance to pull out the comeback … in your mind, that gets translated into falling behind and even losing to the Bulls.

Very clear rational thinking. Do your Blazers get such harsh judgment?

The looming question now is: Can the Lakers keep Bynum happy and performing in the shadow of Pau?

For such a talented star player, he is very deferential. As long as it’s good for the team, he won’t mind letting (or even helping) Bynum get his.

Knicks and Nets are only traps if the whole team goes out drinking the afternoon of the game...

Just got home!

Amazing to see Gasol played so well! Gosh it’s good to have him back! Lakers are without a doubt THE team to beat in the NBA still…no matter what everyone says.

Now we know why Andrew only played 24 minutes: He sprained his right ankle while picking up his 4th foul on Brad Miller
