I wish could stay up to watch the game, but I got a flight back to (hopefully still sunny?) California.

Hope everyone enjoys the game and that the Lakers etch out win :)

hooray!!! it's been crazy weather here

One minute it’s raining, then the sun’s shining, but the wind’s super strong, then the it’s back to cloudy and drizzly …. it’s like the weather here goes through the cycles on warp speed.

Still, when it is sunny here, it’s gorgeous.

Lakers don’t know when Pau will be back

The Lakers say they still have no idea when Pau Gasol might make his season debut. He sat out tonight for the third consecutive game because of a strained right hamstring. He said he would join the team for its trip to play at Oklahoma City on Tuesday and Houston on Wednesday. He also said of his injury, “It’s not going away. We didn’t anticipate that it was going to be that way. So, it was hard for a few days, but I accepted it. Now I’m doing what it takes to get back. I wasn’t thinking it would be that bad, but it turned out to be that way. … Maybe it was an isolated play that could happen to anybody.”

Bad news if it affects him the rest of the season

Good news, even if he comes back in the second half of the reg season, because Drew will have gotten valuable playing time and experience.

Marty Webster was playing him pretty tough, but he was way off.

It was a no-holds-barred sewage tank cage match of horrific basketball.

Blazers were marginally less incompetent, which says little about them. But it was a road B2B, so I guess any win is a good win in that situation…

Fast paced, pretty good shooting on both sides. Joe Johnson was absurdly hot early. Lakers bench had a nice run in the 2nd quarter. Late Laker run at end of half puts them up 6.

by DexterFishmore on Nov 1, 2009 7:58 PM PST up reply actions

Joe Johnson started out hot, lot of turnovers, Kobe took a lot of shots and made some, Bynum missed a lot of close shots, Artest hit an open three, Luke Walton contributed, no defense being played by either side

what happened to the bench tonight?

There are basic Fundamentals that are needed to move forward in this game. Always keep your guard up at all times to avoid being caught in a trap. Overcome the fouls that will be commited against you REBOUND AND PRESS ON. ADJUST to the LimeLight: ALL-STAR PLAYERS ARE ALWAYS THE CENTER OF ATTENTION. Know what your role is and play your position. Find a game plan and execute it. REMEMBER YOU ONLY GET OUT OF THE GAME WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT.

Kobe’s gonna get tired of it soon.

Liked Artest better tonight.

wow thats bad but expected

maybe we collectively as fans have to think better about the Laker bench and who knows they might surprise us…but today was game packed Giants got beatdown by the Eagles, Vikings beat the Packers, Yankees took the lead over the Phillies then the Lakers beat Atlanta, I was busy tonight and I’m glad the Lakers won. Hope Gasol comes back soon

I think they like to watch Kobe play because it's the only reason I cant think of

why they performed the way they did because they knew PJ would pull them yet they still went out and laid an egg

OK. I have a question. . .it seems like they show the same 3 or 4 Laker girls. Is that because the camera guys are hitting on them?

Yes.

Bynum

proved me wrong, but I did call big games from Kobe and Artest. LO is the freaking man with the near triple double. Farmar shot bad but had 4 assists which I like. Sasha has been non existent this year. Luke played very well. Tuesday should be fun, Thunder are way better than you think.
