Lakers-Mavs Game Thread

Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Lakers, Oct 30, 2009 7:30 PM PDT

It's game two of the new season, or as I like to call it... Game One: The Sequel!  It could be like The Empire Strikes Back, an improvement on a strong original, or we could be in for Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj.  I promise nothing.

Just get to commenting, would you? We don't have all night here.

No surprise really

We know the Celtics are a great squad when healthy, and that they are balls to the wall at all times.

The question is whether they can keep it up the whole year.

so far all signs point to a Lakers-Celtics finals...

…with a major kink in the system being Orlando…luckily they don’t live on our side of the block.

Here's the problem...

Lakers are, in essence, a 6 man core — with contributions on some nights from UPS.

No Pau = LO starts = absolutely no bench.

Pau’s back Sunday, hopefully, and life will improve.

This game smells like a loss, it has all along, actually. No worries.
