Previews: Central & Southwest Divisions

Building up to the 2009-10 season, CelticsBlog has been organizing a whole slew of NBA team previews, with dozens of blogs around the webs participating. Not to be outdone, SS&R is doing its part. Yes, I know what you're thinking — CelticsBlog?? But as I said when linking the Atlantic and Southwest divisions, it's okay. Our Lakers are the reigning champs, so we're at the top of this pyramid, looking down. Besides, they may be the enemy, but we can still show good sportsmanship. Right, LeBron?

The Southeast division posts were written within the last couple days, and a general links post should be coming soon. Look for our own post, here at SS&R, within the hour — and once the rest of the Pacific division runs theirs, we'll get a links post up for them, as well. In the meantime, here are links to all you need to know about the teams of the Central and Northwest divisions. Click on through...

Central Division

Northwest Division

Here are your Central division previews. Of course, pay special attention to the Cavaliers, as they'll get the most hype before being bounced by Boston or Orlando they're the most likely candidates from this group to challenge the Lakers for the championship, should our team return to the Finals.

Chicago Bulls

Detroit Pistons

Indiana Pacers

Milwaukee Bucks

Cleveland Cavaliers

Here are your Northwest division previews. While there are three good teams, there are no real championship contenders here — so instead, why not head over to the Minnesota Timberwolves blogs, and share some love with former Laker player/coach Kurt Rambis's new team.

Minnesota Timberwolves

Denver Nuggets

Oklahoma City Thunder

Utah Jazz

Portland Trailblazers

Coming up in about a half hour: Our own contribution to these previews organized by CelticsBlog. And of course, the remaining division links coming soon.
