Interesting tidbit from NYT Sportswriter Howard Beck's twitter
HowardBeckNYT: Worst sight of the night: SA blogger brings cookies to Ginobili in Spurs locker room. Yes, really.

I read that.
Then KD gets all high and mighty about it, calling it wrong. ShamSports doesn’t see the big deal. Neither do I. So what. Should a blogger/journalist be so far removed that they can’t be cool with athletes? He’s a blogger, not a ref. Bloggers and so called journalists are only there to help cover and sell the sports WE pay to watch.
So, if a blogger is on great terms with an athlete and wants brings him cookies, good for him.

It was from Pound the Rock on SB Nation
Wayne has a video of Manu with said “cookies” (really alfajores from an Argentinian Bakery in Texas) on one of the recent posts there.
It seemed pretty harmless to me.

I clicked on the link titled A Chill in the Air….. by the Boston Herald but it goes directly to NBA.com and the Lakers video game highlights. Just an FYI…

You're welcome
thank you for fixing it. I really wanted to read that to because it’s from the Boston Herald.

As far as Bynun as an All-Star is concerned
I hope he is glad that the high-profile centers that draw the majority of votes are out of the picture as opposed to the drain of talent at the center position in the western conference being the main impetus for all-star contention. It’s one thing to step your game up and become an all-star, its another thing entirely to become one because there is no one else in the competition.
